About Tina

Tina is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach who works with leaders, aspiring leaders and their teams to establish goals and create action plans to achieve meaningful change.  With over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector working for Bayer, Pfizer and University of Toronto, Tina understands the complexities of driving results alongside career growth and has the coaching skills to support your success.

Starting her pharmaceutical business career in sales, Tina developed an early understanding of how valuable authentic curiosity and great questions are as tools to drive business results and cross-functional collaboration.  As she progressed to more senior roles in health education, marketing and sales management, seeking to understand different perspectives shaped her leadership style and produced an ability to create globally impactful strategic plans with executable tactics.  In her Sales Manager role, Tina led her team to achieve unprecedented growth in the face of adversity and fierce competition, while also sharing her approach so peers and the global organization could benefit.  In 2020, Tina won the highest honour available to leaders within Bayer – Global President’s Club. 

In the years that followed, Tina turned her curiosity in the direction of coaching and strengthened those skills by taking the steps to become an internationally ICF certified coach.  Whether leading without authority as an oncology marketer or managing a sales team to high performance, Tina noticed a trend.  Without exception, every individual wanted and needed to be truly seen, valued and appreciated.  Using this knowledge, coaching became her primary tool to execute on the organization’s vision of diversity, equity and inclusion, while also encouraging innovation and generating momentum to exceed business goals.

In 2023, knowing that the product she worked on would no longer be promoted and her role would be eliminated, with the help of coaching, Tina found the courage to leave the pharmaceutical industry and explore creating a career that combined her passions of coaching, leadership and strategy development.  After achieving her ICF ACC designation, she created Success Compass Coaching & Consulting to support teams, leaders and aspiring leaders in defining their own visions of success and creating plans to achieve them.

While Tina coaches individuals and teams to achieve success in the professional world, she knows first hand about the demands of life outside of work. Tina has a husband, teenage daughter and mother that she prioritizes and loves spending time with at home or on vacations.  She has also been the primary cancer caregiver to more than one person she loves dearly.  Achieving career success and joy in life can’t wait for the “perfect time” and Tina will work alongside you to create clarity in your career goals and generate a plan to move towards them, no matter what is happening in life.
